Chinese Boxes, also called picnic boxes, or lunch boxes, are general divided into tiers and have handles. There are large, medium and small size examples. The Large ones are used carried on a pole by two people each ends. Two medium sized ones are carried on a pole by one person. Small ones, and most popular ones, are carried by one hand and used on daily basis for storage of lunches and preservative dry food.
Designed by scholars, these different types and size of boxes as containers, sold in shops with detail carvings, paintings.
